I'm telling you that you can run a full marathon. I have a buddy that runs 5 miles per day and a long one on the weekend and he usually finishes around 3:30. The key is to be consistent. I have leukemia and run 75-90 miles per week. I completed my last one Dec. 2nd in Las Vegas. I'm not much of a computer guy, so I'm not sure if I can get back to this blog. If you want you can e-mail me at abchatchlings@aol.com In the Oct. 2006 Runner's World they wrote an article about my health problems and running If you'd like to read it Google A Sick Pace I could give you suggestions to help you train if you'd like. My toughest deal is finding training time because I'm married with 3 kids. You have a cool blog! The food looks great! Brent Hatch St. Fancis, MN

How is your training going? Iran the Las Vegas Marthon. I really enjoyed the course. I live in MN now but was a resident of Las Vegas for 9 years. My wife and I actually got away without the kids. It was my 10th marathon. I have leukemia, so I can't run outside in the winter because if I slip and hit my head the platelets in my blood don't work right so the blood won't clot. I run on a tread mill at home. I have run at Gold's and other fitness places a few times and I have a hard time running there too because the keep the temperature too warm. I log 75-90 miles per week and I have a hard time going 5 miles when it's too warm. How is you training going? I have no idea how to get back to this blog. If you want e-mail me at abchatchlings@aol.com I've had cancer twice and a stroke. If you'd like to read about my running and disfunctional body Google the articl a Sick Pace It was in the Oct 2006 Runner's World. Brent Hatch

Just found this blog - my wife and I are running the marathon this year. We are from Alberta, Canada where snow probably start coming down any time now.

Keep healthy and have a good taper.

103' - eeck! I thought the 90's were bad. I am with you on running in the evenings. It is so relaxing. I am also in need of a new MP3 - so thanks for the tip.

Way to go, love! I'm so happy you found a routine where you can still run outside. Wish me luck with my middle-of-the-day runs! ~Lindsey
